Name: Janetta Hiner (could also be Heinman)

Birth: Unknown, approximately in 1886

Death: April 5, 1889

Age: 3

Janetta Hiner (or Heinman) is buried in the Leadville Hebrew Cemetery.[1]   She was approximately three years old at her time of death.  Her parents are unknown and there are no known records on the toddler other than a date of death.  A probable cause for Janetta’s death is scarlet fever which swept through the city’s youth with high mortality rates at that time.[2]
