Object Description

The synagogue was built in 1884 on land donated by Horace Tabor. The building was formally dedicated on Rosh Hashanah on Friday, September 19, 1884. The building was in continuous use as a synagogue for about 30 years until sometime in the 1910s where it then sat empty and unused until the building was sold in 1937. The building had various uses until 2006 when a fire actively started the restoration process, finishing in 2008.
