In Leadville 1902 and 1905

According to Leadville city directories, Nathan was in Leadville during 1902 and 1905. On November 20, 1905 a meeting was held to discuss provision of aid to Russian Jews suffering from atrocities and Nathan attended. He is listed among those chosen by “Temple Emanuel (Israel)” on Fourth and Pine Streets to “…to solicit contributions of the Leadville Jews who were not present at the meeting…” [1] In 1902 he was a clerk at the Hotel Vendome and in 1905 he managed The New York Bargain Clothing store located at 609-611 Harrison Avenue. His residence is listed as rooms at 519 Harrison Avenue. His birthdate, country of origin, previous and subsequent movements outside Leadville are unknown.
