Never married
Lewis Waldhauer came to Leadville from Missouri in 1880 and was living at 214 West 7th Street with Moses Cooper [1] . [2] In 1881, he was working at David Loeb’s Furniture Store and living at 207 West 2nd Street. [3]
In 1883, Lewis went into business with Albert Lewin forming Lewin and Waldhauer, cigar manufacturers, living and working at 114 East 3rd Street. [4] Albert Lewin’s cigar manufacturing company caught fire in November and he moved his business to 136 East 5th Street. [5]
After 1883, there is no further mention of Lewis in Leadville.
