Isaac Feist

Little is known about Isaac Feist.  He does not appear in Leadville city directories or census records.  He does appear a few newspaper articles.  In November, 1879, Feist was one of the founding members of B’nai B’rith’s Leadville lodge.[1]   Feist’s funeral was noted in the Daily Herald on April 1, 1881, “The remains of Isaac Feist will be interred in Evergreen cemetery at four o’clock this afternoon, friends of the deceased in New Orleans advising burial occur in this city.  The friends of the deceased are invited to attend.[2]
